The analogue/digital debate is almost entirely pointless, and I'm not saying analogue is better than digital, as there are situations when digital practicality wins hands down. It's just my personal preference to attack things hands-on. I'm a tactile person.
I bring this up because I have started to write a PhD on the cultural impact of the shift from analogue to digital forms of imaging and communication, and would be interested to know how you feel about it. How have changes in kit, image sharing, quantity and quality changed your experience of taking pictures, and impacted on your opinion of the role of photography in culture?
Would love to hear your thoughts
Alison
